Euronews’de çalışan farklı ülkelere mensup gazetecilerden, kendi dillerindeki en uzun kelimeyi bulup, kamera karşısında telaffuz etmeleri istendi.

Bu ilginç yarışmanın kazananı ise 75 harfle Türkçe oldu. Türetilen kelime ise şu: ‘Muvaffakiyetsizleştiricileştiriveremeyebileceklerimizdenmişsinizcesinesiniz‘.

Bu sözcüğü telaffuz etmek bir hayli zor. Biz denedik ancak bir çırpıda söylemek neredeyse imkânsız.

Oxford İngilizce Sözlük’te en uzun İngilizce kelime bir akciğer hastalığını tanımlamak için kullanılan ‘pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis‘.

Ancak uydurulan sözcükler ve teknik ifadeler dışarıda bırakılırsa, en uzun kelime 28 harflik ‘antidisestablishmentarianism‘. Bu sözcük İngiliz Kilisesi’nin devletten ayrılmasına karşı olma pozisyonunu tanımlıyor.

Fransızca, İspanyolca ve İtalyancadaki en uzun sözcükler 30 kelimenin altında.

İspanyolcadaki 23 harfli ‘electroencefalografista‘ sözcüğü, elektroenselogram (beyin dalgaları çizelgesi) yapan sağlık çalışanlarını tanımlıyor.

Fransızcadaki 25 harfli ‘anticonstitutionnellement‘ kelimesi ise anayasa ya da usulle ilgili kurallarla uyumlu olmayan bir şeye atıf yapıyor.

İtalyancadaki 26 harfli ‘precipitevolissimevolmente‘ ise bir zarf var mümkün olduğunca hızlı anlamına geliyor
